A family application should not be refused on maintenance ground only, so if this is the only weak point in your application, I would take the risk.

Applying for Naturalisation after passing Test

Hey all,

Wondering if anyone can help?
I took my life in the uk test a while back and passed first time round. I provided my passport as ID for the test.
Now i am about to apply for Naturalisation as a British citizen and they require the same ID i used when i took the test.
The problem is that i've now lost this passport, which was my native one AND it was also expired.

Is there any way i can still apply for naturalisation without having to go through trying to apply for a new native passport (which would be a nightmare as that requires travelling back to my country - which i can't do as i have no passport - *siigh*)
